Arrived in Cairo at 11:30a.m.  Temp. 100+
New airport was deserted except for our flight.
Met by Sofitel  Hotel car (cool damp cloths and chilled water)
Staying near the downtown area beside the Nile.
Cairo is a late night city.  Disco music from several hotels across the Nile until 3:00a.m.  Dinner: chicken shiskebobs, hummus (yummy!) and hot pita bread.

Pre-Trip Post

We are getting everyone ready for the next trip.  Having traveled with all his girls to China, Dad has decided that this time it would just be him and mom.  This will be the way that we keep in touch.
